Nha Trang Cathedral – Long Son Pagoda – Chong Promontory Rocks – Vietnamese Coffee – Po Nagar Towers
– Dam Market – Lunch in town – Mud spa
Our first stop is Nha Trang Cathedral, known as the stone church, and built in the 1930’s. Be sure to check out the beautiful stained glass windows imported from France decades ago. Long Son Pagoda is the largest Buddhist Pagoda in Nha Trang and our next port of call. We then visit Chong Promontory Rocks. How these monstrous boulders are so finely balanced is a mystery. We will enjoy a Vietnamese coffee here, and you can ponder the legend of this area. Sitting proudly on the highest point of the city, and dating back to between the 7th and 12th Century, the ancient Cham towers are next. We are then off to the chaos of local markets (Dam Market) for you to see where the local shop. Lunch is next, at one of the popular local restaurants, before we head to Nha Trang’s famous mud spa. Soak awhile in the mineral rich warm mud, before enjoying the hot springs, known for their health giving properties.
